He graduated from Gauhati Medical College, India in 2000. Through a highly competitive national level entrance examination, Dr Das was admitted into a six year residency programme in Anaesthesiology and obtained MD at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India, an institute of international repute.

Moved to Ireland in 2007 to pursue further exposure and training. He again underwent training in Anaesthesiology under College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland and awarded Completion of Specialist Training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine.

Subsequently Dr Das underwent specialist training in Pain Medicine for two years in St James’s Hospital, Ireland. He was examined and conferred with a Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland (FFPMCAI). He also obtained a fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) from the World Institute of Pain Physicians, USA by examination. Dr Das went to the UK, Leeds NHS Trust and was trained in neuromodulation techniques for chronic pain. In 2017 he was conferred with a Diploma in MSK and Sports Medicine after one year of training and exit examination under Faculty of Sports Medicine and College of GP, Ireland.

Dr has worked as a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesiology in St James’s Hospital from 2015 to 2020 before he moved to full time private practice.
